Too much of the work still depends on the same few people.

AI-powered Work Systems for manufacturers

I came up through the floor at Ford and later led global manufacturing operations. Today I help small and midsize manufacturers build AI-powered Work Systems around recurring office and operational work. We start with a simple build, then move into more complex work. Your team leaves with multiple systems in use and a method it can keep applying.

Where the work gets stuck

Start with the bottleneck your team feels every week.

The first build should solve a problem people already recognize. These are four places manufacturers often feel it first.

01

Hiring

Create role descriptions, interview guides, candidate communication, and a repeatable process around each open position.

02

Onboarding

Give new employees a clear path through training materials, procedures, facilitator notes, and the knowledge they need to do the job.

03

Knowledge capture

Get critical know-how out of scattered files and individual memory, then organize it so the people doing the work can use it.

04

Faster quotes

Bring past quotes, standards, assumptions, and approval steps together so routine opportunities move faster and estimates stay consistent.

The Work System Build

Build a working portfolio around the problems your team needs to solve.

The starting structure includes Session Zero and four two-hour working sessions. We sequence several candidate systems, complete a bounded quick win, and apply the same method to more complex work. The target is two to four functioning Work Systems, depending on the source material, testing requirements, and complexity of the work.

01

Sequence the work

Choose a bounded quick win, then line up the next systems by value, complexity, and readiness.

02

Build from simple to complex

Use each working session to complete a new system or advance a more complex one using real company work.

03

Keep the capability

Your team leaves with multiple systems in use, shared build standards, and a clear path for what comes next.

Experience and proof from real work

Grounded in manufacturing. Measured in work that changed.

400

Division reports produced in one batch run of roughly 15 minutes, replacing a month of manual deck building.

8 hrs

Saved each week by a frontline supervisor who later turned the same workflow into a working application.

70+

Manufacturers served during eight years leading an organization for the automotive industry.

Manufacturing from the inside

I know what it takes for a new way of working to survive the real week.

I started on the floor at Ford, worked through tool and die into engineering, and later led global manufacturing operations at Ford and American Axle. I spent eight years running an organization that served more than 70 manufacturers. Since April 2025, I have been learning and building with AI every week, always around real work and the people responsible for it.

“Worth every minute. Practical AI exercises, prompts, examples, and insights that strengthen how we lead and learn in real time.”
