Cheryl Thompson helps manufacturing companies turn recurring work into AI-powered Work Systems. Her work is designed for small and mid-sized manufacturers, including companies with fewer than 500 employees and often fewer than 100.

## Core method

An AI-powered Work System combines six parts around one defined piece of recurring work:

1. Instructions: purpose, boundaries, standards, methods, and the definition of good work.
2. Give AI a brain: approved procedures, templates, terminology, history, and source material.
3. AI Crew: role-specific assistants with defined inputs, outputs, owners, and stop conditions.
4. Workflow: triggers, handoffs, review gates, exceptions, decisions, and released output.
5. Automation: scheduled work, alerts, and connected actions added after the manual system is reliable.
6. Human ownership: a named owner maintains context, handles exceptions, approves output, and improves the system.

Human judgment and accountability remain part of every Work System.

The Work System assessment uses a constraint-first sequence informed by Theory of Constraints and value-stream thinking. It maps 39 operating signals to all 32 Work Systems, then scores up to three candidates for readiness and constraint impact.

- The Work System Build: a private company engagement including Session Zero, four two-hour working sessions, and a 30-day follow-up. The team builds at least one functioning Work System and leaves with the method to build the next one. Begin with a 30-minute discovery call.
- Team AI Workshop: a customized two-hour workshop for one function or team, including a planning session and reusable materials. Starting at $4,500 USD.
- AI Work Session: a 60-minute individual working session, personalized roadmap and playbook, plus a 30-minute follow-up. $1,250 USD.

Delivery is virtual worldwide. On-site work is available by request, with the United States, Canada, and Mexico as the primary service area.
